Poulson Architecture was established in 2000 in order to explore and understand the complexity of private house design and the opportunity for creating  good  modern housing utilising the building systems and materials employed and developed within other building typologies with a clear focus on lifetime homes, the carbon impact in construction, in operation and end of life recycling.

Sustainability is more than a superficial adoption of material and energy wisdom. It must evolve from the earliest concepts of building siting, geometry, orientation, internal organisation and the enclosure.
