Tim Poulson
Dipl. Arch. Sheffield ARB RIBA
Tim Poulson graduated from Sheffield University in 1964 and joined the modernist architectural practice Yorke Rosenberg Mardall.
In the following 30 years he was responsible for a range of projects including university, health care and commercial buildings and was resident in Singapore for three years leading the design team on a 750 bed teaching hospital.
He was directly involved in the development of the practice with establishment of the first office in South East Asia in 1974 through to his appointment as CEO of YRM plc in 1989 with a team of 650 architects and engineers and a fee income of £35m.
The formation of Poulson Architecture in the year 2000 provided an opportunity to work on projects of a very different scale in private housing where the majority of the projects have been developed and constructed under Poulson Development with tight control on standards, cost and programme.
